Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) Lab Training is based on media gateway running CM3.0 with AE Services Server. The media gateway is connected with a PSTN line & few inbound extensions.

On receiving an inbound call, the media gateway sends call related CTI events to AE Server using ASAI core & ASAI plus. The AE Server running Avaya CT application will convert the ASAI messages on TSAPI/JTAPI libraries and provide to the Students.

Students will develop applications using TSAPI / JTAPI libraries, for example, screen pop up applications / reporting applications etc. The applications can get integrated with a local database.

Training is also provided with SUN blade 150 Avaya IR with IR Designer and Voice XML applications. Students can use these applications to develop self-service applications & integrate with databases. Avaya IR will be integrated with S8300 with line side E1 & CV LAN applications.

CC Express application Server will get integrated with AE Services and provide high-level CTI functionality coaching. With the CC Express inbound Voice application, the CC Express exposes CTI toolkit for front-end screen development.

Certification:
1. Course Completion Certification from the respective institute (No charges)

2. Avaya Core Exam Certification (Charged – Payable directly by student to VUE)
• Students will have to take this exam at VUE Center.
• United States - Telecom Industry Associations recognizes Avaya's Communications Networking exam -- the core requirement of the Avaya Certified Associate (ACA) certification as equivalent to its CTP (Convergence Technologies Professional) exam. Avaya and TIA Establish Cooperative Certification Program
• This exam is mainly focusing on the technology aspects of convergence.

3. Infrastructure and Applications Certifications (charged – reduced price for Students)
• Depending on the area of interest either Infrastructure or Applications or both AGCL(AVAYA Global Connect Limited) will provide a week to 10 days course and successfully completed students will be certified after a written test.

Internship:

On successful completion of the previous certifications all three levels, these students will be given an opportunity to apply for the internship program at Avaya Lab. As and when the Lab comes out with requirement for students on internship basis, these are the set of students who will be given first opp’ty to attend the interview. Students will be selected on merit basis only. This will be 4 months to 6 months program where in students will stay at the Lab provided accomodation. Students will be paid stipend during this period.
